Creating and Changing Your Secure Password

Students who are newly enrolled at one of the VCCS Colleges should receive a user name at the time of their enrollment. New students who have received their user name should be able to log in to VCCS Applications 24-hours after being assigned a user name.

VCCS Applications include:

• Student Information System (SIS)
• Blackboard
  
• VIVA - online library access
  
• VCCS Email account

Students who are logging in to VCCS applications for the first time will be required to create a secure password using the Password Wizard at the time of initial log in.

How to change your password

1. Go to the My VCCS log in page.
2. Select either the Look up your username and set your password link or the Reset your password link.
3. Enter the required information and select the SEARCH button.
4. Follow the on screen instructions to create or reset your secure password.

1. Go to Look up your username
2. Enter the requested information and select the SEARCH button.
