Archiving Your Course
It is recommended that you back up (archive) your course weekly. You should also export your gradebook. An archive does not include your gradebook.

1. Logon to Blackboard and navigate to the course that you wish to archive. Click on CONTROL PANEL.

2. Click on COURSE UTILITIES.

3. Click on ARCHIVE COURSE.

 4. Select all boxes to archive copies of all course sections. Click SUBMIT.

It may take a few minutes for Blackboard to create a zip copy of your course. Do NOT click submit again as it will cause Blackboard to start over.

5. When it is finished, you will see the "Receipt" screen. It should say "No Errors Reported".

6. Click on the word HERE to download the zip file to your computer. Select SAVE to save the file to your computer.

7. I recommend that you create a file on your computer called "Archives" and save your archive file in one folder. You can "overwrite" the previous file each time so you only have one copy on your computer.
