AOL (Wal*mart) Student Blackboard & Email Work Around

If you use America Online and/or Wal*mart as your Internet provider, please follow these directions to use Internet Explorer, Netscape, or Firefox.

The Problem:
You may not be able to log in to or properly use Blackboard, E-mail or My VCCS using the AOL Browser.

The Solution:
Our advice to AOL and Wal*mart users is to do the following:

1. Connect to AOL or Wal*mart in the normal way.
2. Minimize the AOL or Wal*mart window you used for the connection.
3. Launch a new browser window by opening Internet Explorer (or Netscape or Firefox) and use this window to access and use Blackboard or Student E-mail.
4. Use the AOL session window to log off the Internet when you are done.
